Education & Academic Excellence
Dr. D’Aloisio earned his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Western Ontario in 1984. During his undergraduate years, he was a dedicated varsity athlete with the Western Mustangs football team, competing in the National Championships in 1981 and winning a provincial championship in 1982.
Before joining the Mustangs, he played for the Sudbury Spartans Football Team, leading them to two NFC Championships. He was recognized as League MVP in 1982 and Most Valuable Offensive Player in 1983, setting a single-game rushing record of 256 yards.
He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the University of Western Ontario in 1988, where he was honored with the prestigious Orthodontic Award. This distinction is presented to the graduating student who demonstrates exceptional clinical skill and academic excellence in orthodontics.
Dr. D’Aloisio continued his specialty training at the University of Detroit Mercy, earning his Specialty Certificate in Orthodontics in 1990. During his residency, he completed a Master’s thesis examining craniofacial developmental correlations between different population groups. His research was published in the respected American Journal of Orthodontics in 1992. He has also contributed to orthodontic research published in the Canadian Dental Journal.

Dr. D’Aloisio is passionate about lifelong learning and continuously advances his orthodontic knowledge to provide the highest standard of care. He encourages his entire team to pursue ongoing professional development to ensure patients receive the most up-to-date and effective treatment options.
He has served as:
- President of the Sudbury Dental Society
- Member of the Student Committee of the Ontario Dental Association
He remains active in professional organizations, including the American and Canadian Orthodontic Associations.
Community Involvement in Sudbury & Northern Ontario
Beyond the clinic, Dr. D’Aloisio is deeply committed to the local community. He proudly sponsors local teams and community organizations throughout Sudbury and surrounding areas. Outside of orthodontics, he enjoys spending time with his family and staying connected to the community he serves.
